There is this boy who asked me why did a sweet black girl like myself like skulls so much; its more of a rocker thing, not the cute girly one posted on my blog right now, although I like those too,but the dark scary ones that flowers and heart girly girls dislike; the ones they would frown at. Well I never really had an answer just that I thought they were cool. I have an answer now. Fashion and its designers have brought life back to one thing that is scary, death. Pink smiling skulls re-invent the darkness we associate with skulls. Its kinda like life after death. The afterlife is a scary thought to most, but with bright colors and smiling faces it is less formidable.

Oh The Memories!
My best memory is actually year long. It was my fifth grade year. Although I am in 11th grade now, it remains the same. Fifth Grade year wa the year minus High School Drama, Boy problems, and major decisions. At Ambrose Elementary, everyone was your friend. Ok. Each and every person was a Local Celebrity. lol. I recieved the most awards in fifth grade, etc... I mean there were NO PROBLEMOS. That is why 5 is my fav. number. It was the best year. Hopefully in the future I can add to my list of favorite numeros.

What Christmas Means to Me
After five long months of school, homework, test etc. Christmas has turned to a sort of break, school wise, anyways Christmas means to me.....a time to be with family and of course celebrate God. There is speculation that Chirstmas is a pagan (man-made) holiday but it doesn't make a difference to me. We use this time to remind ourselves of the life or Jesus Christ and what he has done for us all. We set aside our problems and worries for him as well as our family. Christmas is just a joyous day for me.

I love to read. I have read so many books it's hard to choose a limited number of authors i would prefer over another. Anyways, I enjoy Nora Roberts, Omar Tyree, Sister Souljah, Eric Jerome Dickey, and Sabrina Jefferies. i think the more appropriate question to ask is what type of books I like to read. It would be easier to answer. :)

I used to, along with my ma or another, sit on our old worn porch and watch the rain fall. It was refreshing and relaxing; sometimes we just sit in silence and watch, at other times we'd reminence. I rememer how the dew dropped onto the leaveless tree that sat in the front yard. It looked as though diamonds had hitched onto the branches. They sparkled luminously.........that's what rain reminds me of.

Robert Frost: Asking for Roses
A house that lacks, seemingly, mistress and master,
With doors that none but the wind ever closes,
Its floor all littered with glass and with plaster
; It stands in a garden of old-fashioned roses.
I pass by that way in the gloaming with Mary;
'I wonder,' I say, 'who the owner of those is.'
'Oh, no one you know,' she answers me airy,
'But one we must ask if we want any roses.
' So we must join hands in the dew coming coldly
There in the hush of the wood that reposes,
And turn and go up to the open door boldly,
And knock to the echoes as beggars for roses.
'Pray, are you within there, Mistress Who-were-you?'
'Tis Mary that speaks and our errand discloses.
'Pray, are you within there? Bestir you, bestir you!
'Tis summer again; there's two come for roses.
'A word with you, that of the singer recalling--
Old Herrick: a saying that every maid knows is
A flower unplucked is but left to the falling,
And nothing is gained by not gathering roses.
' We do not loosen our hands' intertwining
(Not caring so very much what she supposes),
There when she comes on us mistily shining
And grants us by silence the boon of her roses.
What does it mean to you?

Last weekend I actually volunteered for the BBQ Festival. Well it was on Friday but I consider that part of the weekend. My job was to assist the judges, I showcased Bbq sudmissions, set tables and ran errands. Around 4 on Friday, the Pep clud including myself boarded the bus with the cheerleaders and went on our way to Val to attend the games and support the Trojans, unfortunately it wasn't a victory for US. Saturday I spent the day with my sister, we went to a women's conference at Golden Corral-- learned more about how we should live and have God in our lives... and stuffed ourselves. Later on that night my sister and I kicked at the movies with a couple of friends. We watched Paranormal Activity and screamed the entire time (I hate ghost-based movies). Sunday I went to church and we had the last day of our Move of God Women's Conference, it was awesome!....... that sums up my weekend.

Love Poem #8
Never Have I Fallen
Your lips speak soft sweetness
Your touch a cool caress
I am lost in your magic
My heart beats within your chest
I think of you each morning
And dream of you each night
I think of your arms being around me
And cannot express my delight
Never have I fallen
But I am quickly on my way
You hold a heart in your hands
That has never before been given away

What emotion do you feel when your angry is a dumb question but I understand what it's really trying to ask. Anyways, usually when I'm angry my reaction is just to be silent and alone. I don't like being around anyone when I'm upset. There is only one consequence to my silence, which is creating communication problems because I don't like to open up I prefer to keep it bottled so it doesn't do good with relationships.

Contra Costa County Fire Capt. Charles Thomas says a near 2 year old boy was alert and crying after the three-story plunge Sunday in Antioch. It left him with just a cut on his abdomen, a bruised lung and a bump on his head.
The boy appeared to have climbed onto furniture near an open window and fell after pushing against the screen. He landed on concrete and a bed of rocks.

If you had a chaotic class what eould you do to make it productive?
I would honestly threaten the class to make them behave, you know write-ups and refferals, but it wouldn't be a serious threat-- simply b/c I would create an idea...maybe a rewards day every week to encourage them to do better.. or maybe earn bonus points. Overall I would create a more fun focus in the classroom that everyone ccan particiapate in and there would be restrictions to the games or activities students do.
I believe that's is one of the main problems of the classroom, teachers inadequately keep student attention; activities that warant the students' attention and participation can create a effective learning environment.

This weekend I went to dance practice then I went home and did some work and spend friday night and part of saturday with my boyfriend. I walked to my sister's and spent time with my sister and my nieces. After that I left to go to the School Bash in Hazelhurst but in the end I didn't, I was mad. So I spent the most of the day in Ga. Woods hanging with friend til like 12. 'Round that time I left to go to spent the night at a friend's house. That following morning the dance group left to go to broxton where we danced for a church there at 8... in the morning. When that service ended we took their food and headed home, lol. Back at our instructors house we chilled til wwe had to go to another service at our church and danced. When that service was over we went back to our instructor's home and stayed there, we ate and did work' til 6. Finally I went home and finished all my work, cleaned up, took a bath, talked on the phone and went to sleep.

  • My oldest brother just recently moved to Florida. He is a socialite, point blank.
  • My oldest sister is in college, she has two children, girls, one is only a month but the other is a year old and an avid dancer. My sister is fun, a jokester, and she can throw down in th kitchen.
  • Last of my family is my baby sister and brother. They are twins, 10, and terrible but I love them. Just gotta make sure I have some time to myself after being with them for a long period of time.
